On Tuesday Feb. 26, 2008 I had the privilege of having our own club president Dennis Workman come to La Sierra High School and teach my science class about one of my favorite subjects, S.C.U.B.A diving. He delivered an interesting and informative lesson on diving while pictures (mostly from our Bonaire trip last summer) played on the screen beside him. During the course of the day he introduced the sport of diving to about 200 students. He told them some great stories and gave them a chance to ask questions. The students paid close attention as he told them how he chased a shark to take it's picture. Watching the pictures and listening to Dennis describe what it is like to "fly" under water several students said they want to take up diving. I know it makes me want to go diving. Thanks again Dennis, the kids and I really appreciate you taking time to come and share your diving experiences with us.
